1.4 We pay for speech therapy only when it is:

· short term for a condition such as a stroke

· part of the treatment for that condition

· taking place during or immediately following treatment for that condition, and

· recommended by your specialist.

We do not pay for treatment of speech or language disorders such as stammering or as a result of learning difficulties.
