TRAVEL ASSISTANCE COVER
Previous provisions
- Insurance scope and period of cover: This insurance cover is valid throughout the world and in Spain, outside of the insured's province of primary residence, with the exception of those covers which expressly have exclusive validity abroad. Its period of cover is linked to accident insurance.
- Validity: To receive covered benefits the insured's address must be in Spain, the insured must reside in Spain and his or her time out of said primary residence must not exceed 60 days per trip.
Included covers
6. Medical, surgical, pharmaceutical and hospitalisation expenses abroad
If, as a consequence of an illness or accident, the insured requires medical, surgical or pharmaceutical care, the insurer will bear the following costs:
a. Medical and surgical expenses and fees.
b. Pharmaceutical expenses for medication prescribed by a physician.
c. Hospitalisation expenses.
The maximum amount covered by the insurer for all such expenses occurring abroad is 12,000 euros.
