TRAVEL ASSISTANCE COVER

 

Previous provisions

 

- Insurance scope and period of cover: This insurance cover is valid throughout the world and in Spain, outside of the insured's province of primary residence, with the exception of those covers which expressly have exclusive validity abroad. Its period of cover is linked to accident insurance.

 

- Validity: To receive covered benefits the insured's address must be in Spain, the insured must reside in Spain and his or her time out of said primary residence must not exceed 60 days per trip.

2. Transportation or repatriation of insured accompanying family members

 

When one of the insured individuals has been transferred or repatriated due to illness or an accident in the application of cover No 1 from the last section, and this circumstance impedes family members who are also insured to return to their residence using their intended means of transportation the insurer shall bear the cost of the expenses relating to:

 

a. The transportation of the other insured individuals to their primary residence or to the place where the insured has been transported or repatriated for hospitalisation.

 

b. An individual who can travel and accompany the other insured individuals discussed in the previous point a, when these individuals are the children of the transferred or repatriated insured individual who are less than 15 years old, when there is no family member or trustworthy person to accompany them on their return trip.
