TRAVEL ASSISTANCE COVER
Previous provisions
- Insurance scope and period of cover: This insurance cover is valid throughout the world and in Spain, outside of the insured's province of primary residence, with the exception of those covers which expressly have exclusive validity abroad. Its period of cover is linked to accident insurance.
- Validity: To receive covered benefits the insured's address must be in Spain, the insured must reside in Spain and his or her time out of said primary residence must not exceed 60 days per trip.
Included covers
10. Transportation or repatriation of the deceased and of accompanying insured individuals
The insurer shall bear the cost of all the formalities to be carried out in the location of the insured's death, as well as transportation or repatriation to the burial site in Spain.
In the event that insured family members accompanying the insured at the time of death cannot return with their originally intended means of transportation, or their return tickets cannot be changed, the insurer shall bear the cost of their transportation to the burial site or their residence in Spain.
In the event that the family members of the insured are his or her children who are less that 15 years old, and there is no other family member or trustworthy person to accompany them on their trip the insurer shall provide a person to travel with them to the burial site or their residence in Spain.
